Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Provolone cheese
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (parsley, oregano)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Slice the provolone cheese into thick pieces and place them in the skillet.
  3. Cook until golden brown on one side, then flip and cook the other side until melted and bubbly.
  4. Prepare the chimichurri by mixing minced garlic, chopped fresh herbs, olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes and serve immediately with chimichurri on the side.

Notes

Use high-quality provolone for the best flavor. Don’t overcrowd the skillet for a perfect crust.
