- 4 medium zucchinis
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the zucchinis in half lengthwise and scoop out the insides to create boats.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Fill the zucchini halves with the beef mixture.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Place the zucchini boats on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the zucchinis are tender and the cheese is melted.
