Description
A refreshing and hydrating cucumber lemonade perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients

- 1 large cucumber, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)
- 4 cups water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the sliced cucumber and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the cucumber mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove the pulp.
- Add the fresh lemon juice and sugar to the cucumber juice in the pitcher.
- Pour in the remaining 3 cups of water and stir well until the sugar is dissolved.
- Chill the cucumber lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
- For a fizzy version, replace some of the water with sparkling water.
- This drink can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
