Description

Deliciously warm and chewy chocolate chip cookies, perfect for creating joyful moments with family and friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (brown butter)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until it begins to brown. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Combine the brown butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl. Mix well.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and eggs to the mixture and mix until smooth.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a thicker cookie, refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes before baking.
