A flavorful Argentinian dish featuring tender steak marinated in zesty chimichurri sauce, perfect for grilling.
Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs flank steak
- 3/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Combine parsley, cilantro, garlic, red wine vinegar, olive oil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk the ingredients together until well combined.
- Set aside half of the chimichurri sauce for serving later.
- Marinate the flank steak with the remaining chimichurri sauce. Cover and let it sit for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and shake off the excess.
- Grill the steak for 5-6 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness.
- Rest the steak for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with the reserved chimichurri sauce drizzled on top.
Notes
Use fresh herbs for the chimichurri sauce to enhance flavor and always let the steak rest after cooking.
