Description

A comforting and flavorful baked gnocchi dish made with marinara sauce and topped with gooey cheese, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package gnocchi
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the gnocchi in a large pot according to package instructions until they float.
  3. Drain the cooked gnocchi and set aside.
  4. Combine the cooked gnocchi in a large baking dish with marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Mix the ingredients well to ensure the gnocchi are well-coated.
  6. Top the mixture with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Ensure not to overcook the gnocchi while boiling to maintain their texture. Fresh herbs enhance flavor significantly.
