A light and creamy dessert made with fresh strawberries and mascarpone cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
- Layer the sliced strawberries at the bottom of serving glasses.
- Spoon the mascarpone mousse over the strawberries.
- Top with additional strawberries if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter mousse, adjust the amount of powdered sugar to taste.
- Can be garnished with mint leaves for added freshness.
