Description

A light and creamy dessert made with fresh strawberries and mascarpone cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
  4. Layer the sliced strawberries at the bottom of serving glasses.
  5. Spoon the mascarpone mousse over the strawberries.
  6. Top with additional strawberries if desired.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter mousse, adjust the amount of powdered sugar to taste.
  • Can be garnished with mint leaves for added freshness.
