Description
A refreshing and fruity drink perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh pineapple, chopped
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- Juice of 1 lime
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the chopped pineapple and hulled strawberries.
- Add 2 cups of water and blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove pulp.
- Add the remaining 2 cups of water, sugar, and lime juice to the pitcher.
- Stir well until the sugar is dissolved.
- Serve over ice and enjoy!
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar based on your preference.
- This drink can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
- For a twist, add mint leaves or a splash of coconut water.
