Description

A delightful and refreshing Southern beverage perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • Ice cubes


Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  4. Add the sliced peaches to the tea and let it cool to room temperature.
  5. Refrigerate the tea for at least 2 hours.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with additional peach slices if desired.

Notes

  • For a stronger peach flavor, blend the peaches into a puree before adding them to the tea.
  • Adjust the sugar to taste based on your sweetness preference.
