Description

A delicious and easy-to-make casserole that combines the flavors of cinnamon rolls with the convenience of a breakfast bake.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup (for serving)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters and place them in the baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon rolls, ensuring they are well coated.
  6. If using, sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
  7. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  8. The next morning, remove the plastic wrap and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with maple syrup drizzled on top.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add cream cheese frosting on top after baking.
