- 2 cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters and place them in the baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
- Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon rolls, ensuring they are well coated.
- If using, sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- The next morning, remove the plastic wrap and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with maple syrup drizzled on top.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add cream cheese frosting on top after baking.
- This dish can be prepared a day in advance for a hassle-free breakfast.
