- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag (32 oz) tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is cooked through.
- Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Add the cream of mushroom soup and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
- Top with an even layer of tater tots.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Notes
- Feel free to substitute the ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
- For added flavor, consider adding garlic powder or Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture.
