Description

Delicious and healthy chicken burgers infused with Mediterranean flavors, featuring fresh herbs and creamy feta cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cucumber, tzatziki sauce


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, feta cheese, parsley, mint, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through.
  6. Toast the burger buns in the same skillet for a minute or until golden brown.
  7. Assemble the burgers with your choice of toppings.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken mixture for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • These burgers can also be grilled for a smoky flavor.
  • Serve with a side of Greek salad for a complete meal.
