- 1 pound fresh Florida shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the peeled shrimp evenly over the pie crust.
- Sprinkle the chopped green onions and shredded cheddar cheese over the shrimp.
- Pour the cream and egg mixture over the shrimp and cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the pie is set and golden brown on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the filling.
