Description

A delicious and savory pie featuring fresh Florida shrimp and rich cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh Florida shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the peeled shrimp evenly over the pie crust.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped green onions and shredded cheddar cheese over the shrimp.
  5. Pour the cream and egg mixture over the shrimp and cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the pie is set and golden brown on top.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
