A delicious and hearty chili made with turkey and pumpkin, perfect for fall.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic over medium heat until softened.
- Add the ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Stir in the pumpkin puree, black beans, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 20 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
Notes
- For a spicier chili, add diced jalapeños or cayenne pepper.
- This chili can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Leftovers can be frozen for up to 3 months.
