Description

A delicious and creamy dish featuring ravioli filled with mushrooms and served with perfectly seared steak.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of mushroom ravioli
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 steaks (your choice of cut)
  • Fresh basil for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the mushroom ravioli according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic and mushrooms until tender.
  3. Add diced tomatoes and heavy cream to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  4. Season the sauce with salt and pepper, and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  5. In another skillet, sear the steaks to your desired doneness.
  6. Once the ravioli is cooked, drain and add it to the sauce, tossing to coat.
  7. Serve the creamy ravioli topped with sliced seared steak and garnish with fresh basil.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
  • Feel free to add more vegetables like spinach or bell peppers to the sauce.
  • Make sure to let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing.
