A hearty and delicious casserole featuring beef and potatoes, perfect for a family meal.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat.
- In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased casserole dish.
- Add the cooked beef mixture on top of the potatoes.
- Pour half of the soup mixture over the beef.
- Layer the remaining potatoes and then pour the rest of the soup mixture on top.
- Cover with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the potatoes are tender.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños.
- Can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
