- 1 batch of brownies, baked and cooled
- 2 cups chocolate pudding
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 1 cup chocolate shavings or chips
- 1/2 cup crushed nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the brownies according to your favorite recipe and let them cool completely.
- In a large trifle dish, crumble half of the brownies at the bottom.
- Layer half of the chocolate pudding over the brownies.
- Add a layer of whipped cream on top of the pudding.
- Sprinkle half of the chocolate shavings or chips over the whipped cream.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining brownies, pudding, whipped cream, and chocolate shavings.
- Top with crushed nuts if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate brownies.
- Feel free to add fruits like strawberries or raspberries for a fresh twist.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance for convenience.
