Description

A refreshing and tangy blueberry lemonade perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the fresh blueberries and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the blueberry mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove the pulp.
  3. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar to the blueberry juice in the pitcher.
  4. Pour in the remaining 3 cups of water and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
  • For a fizzy version, replace some of the water with sparkling water.
  • This lemonade can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
